Smoke alarms should be on every level of your home; Inside bedrooms, and outside of sleeping areas. Smoke detectors should be tested once a month and you should replace the batteries, once a year. Children and seniors are at the greatest risk of dying in a fire, make sure you and your family members have an escape plan and know how to call for help.
